Warming trend affects fish

February 1, the Homer Tribune is delving into a series on the warming climate and its effects. “Local gardners may be able to introduce palm trees by 2100.”

It’s 6 degrees below zero outside. Could somebody take a break from getting grants to show how hot it is and get another log for the fire?

    An Inconvenient Truth! Say, Captain, with the price of heating oil so high I’ll bet it really hurts in Alaska - Isn’t heating oil and the diesel you burn in your boat the same?
